WHY The short-rib griiled cheese, which is every bit as heavenly as it sounds; the high-quality build-your-own burgers, made with grass-fed beef or a blend of Angus steak, tri-tip, chuck and short rib; and the light, wonderful onion rings.
WHAT This upscale burger bar occupies the former Table 8 space and shares the same owners. The feel is more casual than when it was Table 8, but it’s still chic, with wainscoting and a handsome bar. The surprise is why it’s not more crowded, given the surprisingly moderate prices and very good burgers.
