If you want to spend $11 for a gin and tonic here, that’s your business, but the smart money’s on such concoctions as the Smoke of Scotland (two Scotches, dry vermouth and elderflower liqueur) and the Emerald (gin, elderflower liqueur, lemon juice, black grapes and sage). Add a very good Black Forest ham sandwich, and you’ve got a well-balanced meal, at least in some circles.
