Hollywood Certified Farmers’ Market

EatLA-1255

WHY Excellent produce from McGrath’s and Kenter Canyon Farms, among many others, as well as wonderful eggs and free-range chickens from Healthy Family Farms, a good fish vendor, a few bakers and a great source for naturally raised bison. Switch from beef burgers to bison burgers—you won’t be sorry.

WHAT One of the finest markets in the state, with a superb selection and lots always going on: cooking demonstrations, cookbook signings, tastings, kids’ amusements and live music. Parking is a challenge; you’ll probably have to pay. Better yet, take the Metro—the Hollywood and Vine stop is a block away. Well worth a trip.

WHO Chefs, caterers, families pushing tank-size strollers and European ex-pats with baskets on their arms.
