WHY Who wouldn’t want to learn how to make cluster candies, chocolate pizzas and marshmallow buddies?
WHAT From the front, this strip-mall place on a lost stretch of Route 66 looks like nothing more than a place to buy candy molds, and in fact it is an excellent supply house for bakers and candy makers. But a lot more goes on behind those doors: classes in candy and cake making, for the novice to the experienced. Free candy-making demonstrations happen twice a month, and if you like what you see, you can sign up to learn how to make your own bon bons. The cake-decorating and fondant-making classes are also popular.
WHO Gaggles of middle-aged women friends, and moms with their teenage daughters.
