Milk

EatLA-1086

WHY The grasshopper ice cream sandwich, banana-peanut malt, creative cakes like Blue Velvet, and handmade shave ice (try the dulce de leche). Oh, and the vanilla-bean ice cream bar dipped in superb dark chocolate.

WHAT This charming, airy sweets spot is beloved by the neighborhood for its good ice cream and desserts, its sidewalk tables, and the fact that it’s open until 11 on weekends. The counter is piled with an array of tempting baked goods, and there are treats to take home in the cooler case.

WHO Hancock Park moms picking up expensive but fantastic ice cream cakes and Beverly Boulevard date-nighters sharing shakes and sundaes.

Milk has THE BEST red velvet cupcakes I’ve ever had in my life! The cake is moist goodness and the icing is smooth, creamy goodness. The blue velvet cake is just as scumptious! I wish they didnt charge so much to deliver there baked goods to the east coast! The Milk Shop is ALWAYS my first stop when I visit Los Angeles – from the airport straight to Milk!
