Pasadena Certified Farmers’ Market

EatLA-1576

WHY A great market east of Hollywood.

WHAT This popular market on the edge of Victory Park offers Harry’s Berries, Bill’s Bees (honeys), ABC Rhubarb (herbs and greens), Two Peas in a Pod (super sweet sugar snaps, shelling beans, cauliflower, berries), and Mike Taylor (spring and Maui onions, tomatoes, nasturtiums). Good flowers, too. Stop by the Culture Club 101 stall for a kombucha refresher or a lacto-fermented soda. The same group runs a smaller but still worthwhile market on Tuesday mornings at Villa Park, 363 E. Villa, in central Pasadena.

WHO Parents stocking up while their kids play AYSO soccer on the neighboring fields.

N. Sierra Madre Blvd. & Paloma St., , 626.449.0179, pasadenafarmersmarket.org. Sat. 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Cash only.
