WHY Takeout or eat-in sushi from the ‘Sushi Nazi’ Kazunori Nozawa of Sushi Nozawa in Studio City—without the high-price tag or quite the same creative combinations.

WHAT Nozawa has traded his omakase at the flagship restaurant for pre-set ‘Trust Me’ combinations (hamachi nigiri, tuna sashimi with scallions) that are less expensive but just as fresh at these more laid-back strip-mall joints (one in Brentwood, one in the Marina). The takeout is cleverly packaged and includes his famed ‘firm’ nibbling instructions, so it almost feels like the Sushi Nazi himself is glaring over your shoulder at home.
