Important reminder! Cinco de Mayo is just days away!
Get into fighting shape for the yearly drinkathon at the META “Art of Tequila” Fundraiser at Mas Malo this Saturday, April 28th, from 7:00 – 10:00 pm. The META (Making Education the Answer) benefit will provide mentorship and scholarship to SoCal Hispanic youth.
Tequila sponsors 1921, Casa Noble, Corralejo, and Nobleza will give you a jump on next week’s alcohol fiesta. Guests will enjoy a mariachi trio as they bid on auction items and enjoy Baja shrimp or potato cheddar tacos, chicken mole skewers, guero chiles, and other Latin delicacies.
Already, muy delicioso.
Mas Malo, the Downtown sequel to Silverlake’s Malo, is located in a palatial, former jewelry store with historic murals, soaring ceilings, a balcony, and a dimly lit, downstairs lounge. Additionally, the former joyeria‘s jewelry vault was transformed into Mas Malo’s intimate tasting room, which is where VIP guests will be treated to an exclusive tequila sampling.
Think of the event as your personal training sesh for Cinco de Mayo.
META at Mas Malo — Saturday, April 28th, 7:00 – 10:00 p.m.; General admission $125 pp/VIP admission $250 – - Mas Malo, 515 West 7th Street, Downtown L.A.
