Food Truck Block Party in Silver Lake! On Sunday (rain canceled today) the Silver Lake Art, Craft and Vintage Market is hosting the first of a once-monthly lineup of food trucks at Micheltorena Elementary School. Starting February 27 and 28, food trucks will be arriving on the last Saturday and Sunday of every month, vending more or less from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., and hosting what will surely be a happy, heat-seeking crowd.

The inaugural lineup features some of the best trucks in town, many nationally known (arrival times approximate, and they’ll stay till 4 p.m.).

Sunday, February 28th:  Yum Yum Bowls – 9:30 a.m.;  Buttermilk Truck – 10 a.m. (leaving 1:30 p.m. – being replaced by Asian Soul Kitchen);  Phamish – 10 a.m.;  Louks To Go – 11 a.m.;  LA BBQ Guy – 11:15 a.m.;  Dels – noon
