Tomorrow night, May 16, 2013, The Santa Monica Farmers Markets will present Gleaning & Foraging as part of their 2013 Quarterly Library Panel Series. Fresh food abounds if you know where to look for it. From farmers markets to backyards to empty lots, there is a variety of edible food in our midst. Learn from volunteers and experts who are helping to find and distribute LA’s hidden bounty of food.

When: Thursday, May 16, 2013, 7:00 – 8:30 pm*

*Stay after for farmers market snacks prepared by Mia Wasilevich

Where: Santa Monica Public Library, 601 Santa Monica Blvd. MLK Auditorium

Cost: Free and open to the public
