In the land of forkless food, the one-handed taco is king.
Especially in Los Angeles.
This Saturday, exercise hand-to-mouth coordination and access your innermost Angeleno at the one-day-only Los Angeles 3rd Annual Taco Fest where you pay for the food, not the sunshine.
That’s right; it’s the rare L.A. food fest without an entry fee.
Spend all your money on tortilla-wrapped goodness from purveyors like Un Solo Sol Kitchen, Yeya’s Restaurant, Candele Taco Bar & Lounge, and the Tacos El Gallito truck. There’s music, art and kid activities; all proceeds go directly to help homeless youth.
The fest is at the Mariachi Plaza Metro Gold Line stop (Go Metro for a free drink!*) so you don’t even have to walk in order to taco.
Just stroll around the Plaza and pretend it’s exercise.
