WHAT A former Patina chef decided he wanted to do his own thing in his own neighborhood, and the result is this popular café and gourmet-to-go spot. Breakfast brings takeout croissants or eat-in eggs; lunch and dinner mean prosciutto and mozzarella sandwiches, ahi tuna salads and lovely cheese pizzas.
WHO North Glendale folks thrilled that they don’t have to drive to Pasadena.

I know you can’t judge a book by its cover or a restaurant by its graphics, but this place caught my eye.
Glad to see the interior lives up to the signage!
unfortunately my root canal took place across the street so was never in a space to try it but will make a detour in the near future to sample “beyond the logo”.
